How secure is purchasing over the Internet?

We have a secure site for processing your orders. Our SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) software is the industry standard and the best available today for secure on-line transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information so that it cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. Making a credit card purchase through such a site is safer than using your credit credit card in a normal retail store.

You say that your site is secure, but how can I tell?

When you enter a secure site, such as our order form page, your browser will display a small lock icon at the bottom of the screen. If you click on this icon (double-click in Internet Explorer), details of the site's security information will be displayed.   

If I'm still not happy about using my credit card over the Internet, can I pay by cheque?

Certainly. You may have to allow a few more days for the bank to clear the cheque.

Will any information I give you when making a purchase be kept private?

Absolutely. We do not hold any personal information after it has been processed and we do not provide any customer information to any other organization2.

What if my goods  don't arrive?

We guarantee delivery. If your goods have not arrived after a reasonable time, contact us by e-mail or phone, and we will replace them. 

An Internet shop like your one would suit my business. How can I get one? Is it expensive?

Rest assured that we do not condone or practice any form of spam mail. We will not use your e-mail address for any purpose other than sending our newsletter and we will not provide it to any third party. Our mailing list is stored on our secure server for added protection from hackers.
